How To: Snow Leopard on AMD

1. First thing first follow the MPGK Guide Here and Download the latest Package Here
How To: Boot From Snow Leopard Disc
2. Put the Kernel that is located in /Snow Files/AMD in the Root of your Snow Drive
3. Add this to Com.apple.boot.plist
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel.test7</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>5</string>
4. Replace the Boot File, You can by opening ShowAllFiles in the DMG Utilities and Click Show
5. Once Files are shown go to the root of your Snow Drive and delete the existing Boot file and drag the new one in.
6. Once in Snow Leopard, Open Utilities and Open Marvin’s AMD Utilities
and run a CPUID Patch on this:
System/Library/QuickTime/
and
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/Versions/A/
and
/System/Library/PreferencePanes/Spotlight.prefPane
7. You Should now be running Snow on an AMD Machine

i have athlon x64 3500 and dont work for me. gigabyte motherboard
graphic card ATI X1600
I dont get this which steps of the “How To: MPGK Install” Do we have to do?
Also EFIStudio doesnt have any ATI cards do i just skip that step?
So which steps from the “How To: MPGK Install” Do we actuallly have to do also i have a ATI HD3870 how do i get the efi string for it as the EFI utility doesnt work?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ / 2.5 GHz
4GB
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 / nForce 430.
The EFI does not have my card. What should I do?
Also I am trying to install Snow Leopard on a USB Hard Drive, will it work?

@Chris, If you don’t have an nVidia video card, you can skip with EFiStudio.

I try to usb boot method on my amd pc . but it shutdown.
