The rumor about the 40gb PS3 floating is official. Sony is releasing this on Nov. 2nd and in has been already been release in Japan, Japan is also getting a new color to the PS3 in white, if they release that in US thats on my list. But it will lack the abilty of Backwards Compatibilty, they said they could add but they just dont want to. The Price for the new PS3 in Japan will be 39,980 yen ($341) and in US for 399$ which is not a bad deal considering it has blu-ray but has only 2 usb ports and new more memory slots.
Update: The white PS3 in Japan will be out on November 11th and same withe the white DAULSHOCK 3 controller.
